I am a Professor of Computer Science at Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Etienne, France. Since May 2017 I am the Director of development and innovation at Télécom Saint-Etienne, a public engineering school with Université Jean Monnet and affiliated to Institut Mines Télécom.
My teaching at Télécom Saint-Etienne mainly includes algorithms and data structures (~L3), Java programming language and its ecosystem (M1), high performance computing on single node (M1), machine learning (M2), and data analysis/big data (M2).
My research at Laboratoire Hubert Curien (UMR CNRS 5516) includes Natural Language Processing and Artificial Intelligence. I am especially interested in machine learning for NLP, with applications to text classification, text generation, question answering systems and information retrieval.
Yes the opposite photo is a bit outdated, unfortunately. Just a little 😇. I will upate it in the near future!
